Dear FHS Families,
As I reflect on my first year in the role as Head of School, I am both honored and grateful for the trust and support you have extended me. This past year has been a journey of learning, growth, and inspiration, and I am humbled by the dedication and drive of our students, faculty, and staff. Their commitment to excellence and unwavering faith has been the cornerstone of our successes to which we give God the full glory.
We have seen remarkable achievements in academics, athletics, and the arts, underscoring the holistic education we strive to provide. We continue to be in awe of the many blessings God has provided our school as we equip students for Christian living. One of my favorite accounts in scripture that provides a glimpse into Jesus’ childhood is: ‘And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man’ (Luke 2:52). Our prayer is that our students will also grow in wisdom, maturity, and favor with both God and others.
Looking forward, I am excited about the numerous opportunities that lie ahead. We are launching new initiatives to enhance our curriculum and instruction, investing in career and technology opportunities to better prepare our students for the future, and expanding our extracurricular programs to nurture well-rounded individuals. Our focus will remain on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
At the heart of our mission is the principle of “Truth. Love. Service”. These values are not just words; they are the foundation upon which our school stands. God’s Truth guides us in our pursuit of knowledge and integrity and is at the center of learning. Nurturing a desire to Love Christ and extend that love to others binds our community together, encouraging empathy, compassion, and mutual respect. A Service mindset instills in our students the importance of giving back and making a positive impact in the world. These tenets are essential in shaping our students into thoughtful, responsible, and ethical individuals. Faith Heritage School is unique in many ways.
Our commitment to academic excellence, rooted in Christian values, sets us apart. The close-knit community we foster allows for meaningful relationships and personalized attention for each student. Our educators are not only skilled professionals but also mentors who inspire and guide our students in their spiritual and personal growth. The emphasis we place on character development and servant leadership ensures that our graduates are well-prepared to lead and serve in a diverse and ever-changing world.
