Uniforms through Lands End

As an extension of the school's philosophy, our Dress Code promotes a sense of excellence, school pride, and unity.

This means all clothing must be from the uniform line of clothing offered on the Faith Heritage page of the Land’s End website. For more on our dress code, see the Dress Code or Shoe Guide downloads below.

Dress Code Descriptions

We depend on parents to work with the school in maintaining the appearance standards of the dress code by checking students before they leave for school, making sure they are dressed and groomed properly. It is understood that enrollment in FHS means a pledge on the part of both parents and students to abide by these dress code standards. Please read this section with your children to make sure they understand and agree to follow this code.

Additional Notes & Clarifications

  1. All clothing must be well-fitted, not tight, but not over-sized and baggy, not overly long.
  2. Collared dress shirts must be tucked in and worn with a brown or black leather belt. Polo shirts do not need to be tucked in, but if they are tucked, they should be worn with a brown or black leather belt.
  3. No scarves may be worn in school.
  4. For Girls: Hair and jewelry should not be excessive. Extreme colors or extreme hair styles are not permitted. Ear piercings should not be excessive (i.e. no spacers).  Nose piercings may only include one small stud. Any other body piercing is not acceptable.
  5. For Boys: Hair must be neat and not in the eyes. Excessively spiked hair, shaved designs, wearing items in the hair, extreme hair colors, and other extreme hairstyles (as deemed by administration) are not permitted.
  6. For Boys: Faces shall be clean-shaven with sideburns neatly trimmed not extending below the earlobes. Seniors only may wear neatly groomed facial hair.
  7. For Boys: Earrings in ears or other body piercing are unacceptable. No “spacers” may be worn.
  8. Tattoos or facsimiles are to be covered during school or any school sponsored activity.
  9. No hats are to be worn in the building.

Clothing items not included in the Faith Heritage Dress Code are not to be worn during school hours.
